Today we took a Christmas shopping road trip with a group from church. We ventured to Medina county starting the day at Ohio Wholesale’s Friends and Family sale.
From there we continued on to Mapleside Farms in Brunswick. This was a wonderful stop that I highly recommend to anyone. It’s an apple orchard, gift shop, bakery and restaurant overlooking a very scenic valley of orchards and lak
es. The restaurant was quite good with a 30 foot Christmas tree in the center and windows overlooking the valley. We bought a jar of their apple butter BBQ sauce. I had had the BBQ burger and Brett had the BBQ pulled pork smothered in the sauce.

Our last stop was Petitti’s Garden Center in Strongsville. If you live in NE Ohio and haven’t been there at Christmas, get yourself over there ASAP. It’s far cry from the Tallmadge location. It was spectacularly decorated for the holidays. There are acres under glass of intricately decorated trees and thousands of poinsettias. The prices were not too bad. We came home with a very pretty poinsettia and a tree ornament.(Visited 4 times, 1 visits today)
