White Chicken Bar-B-Q Sauce

3 cups mayonnaise
1 cup lemon juice
½ cup sugar
½ cup vinegar
½ cup Worcestershire sauce
8 tsp Salt (see note)
4 TBS pepper (or less to taste)

Mix all ingredients. Allow flavors to blend at room temperature for 15 minutes before use. Taste and adjust seasonings. Brush on chicken pieces several times during last 15 minutes of cooking time.

Makes enough for two chickens. I half this recipe and usually have enough for 2 grillings. It stores in the refrig­erator for a long amount of time. Note: If you’re concerned about salt, half the amount to start, and adjust before using.
