This was a very busy week. I didn’t have a chance to blog. We hosted my work holiday party Friday and I was busy with decorating and other things all week. I am so glad it’s over!

We went to Lock 3 Park in Downtown Akron this afternoon and evening to visit the Christkindlmarkt of merchants from Germany. It was pretty nice. I love hand blown ornaments and usually buy some Christopher Radko ones each year. A merchant there had some nice hand blown German glass ornaments at good prices. I bought three to add to our collection.

We also had a brat, potato pancake and sauerkraut. It’s worth a visit if you haven’t been yet. It brings back childhood memories of visiting downtown Alliance and Canton to see the beautiful store windows and streets lined with holiday decorations. It’s a shame the malls took this tradition from us.
