It’s been a hard winter. Just a few weeks ago it snowed almost 20″. The past week has been somewhat rainy and the temps have been in the 40s and 50s. As you can see from the photo on the left, the spring bulbs have been growing. It looks like blooms wile be open in about a week.

I have been so busy over the past two weeks with the Akron Pride Center Annual Dinner. I am the chair of the dinner’s planning committee. Things have pretty much fallen in place. As with any event planning, some surprises keep showing up. I think the night will turn out very nice. After that I am taking it easy for some time.

This weekend we are off to Erie with some friends for a fun weekend. We’re going to an indoor water park and a tour of area wineries. We may visit the local casino. We were unable to get away a single weekend this winter. This weekend is so welcomed.
