I am the little guy in this Christmas 1955 photo. I chose this photo since it reminds me of one of my fondest Christmas memory. My dad was very artistic. Every Christmas he decorated our living room mantle to the max. You can catch a glimpse of it in the background. We had a small 1950s brick ranch. The house had a large picture window in the living room. Along with the mantle, this window was decorated to the max. My dad was a master of spray snow! Does anyone else remember the snow and the templates you held over the glass to create holiday shapes? I wonder if that product is still being sold? He used it liberally on the mantle mirror and living room picture window. My dad loved Christmas and put a lot of effort into making our home very Christmas-like. Merry Christmas to all on this beautiful Christmas Day in Ohio!
