I’ve been pretty busy this past week. However while mindelessly surfung at lunch on iTunes, I found this pretty funny series of videos. I plan to resume blogging this week.
2007 Resolutions
I’ll post my 2007 resolution here. Maybe it will make me more apt to achieve them. Lose Weight – I think this resolution appears on most people’s list. I need to get serious about it. Ay my last cardiologist appointment, everything was great in terms of my health other than my weight. I made a promise to Dr. Shaub to lose 20 pounds before my…
2006 in Review
As I sit here at lunch, it seems appropriate to look back on 2006. Here are my joys from 2006. Heart Recovery – I finished cardiac rehab with a big bang! I credit Chris, my case worker, for a lot of the success. I scored 12.8 mets on the exit stress test. Hawaiian Cruise – Brett and I had a fantastic time on our April…
Post Holidays
The holidays are finally over. Brett and I had a very busy 11 days off. We were busy non-stop with family and friends. We seemed to be constantly cooking and eating. This past weekend our pals Shannon and Steve from Cincinnati spent New Year’s with us. We had a small party New Year’s Eve and had dinner last night with our good friends, the Roses,…
Merry Christmas 2006!

Then… Another photo from Christmas 1958… I loved the toys of my youth. Today,…
Christmas 1958
I like this Christmas photo of our family. I am really into nostalgia during the holidays as you might have noticed. It’s probably the best casual photo of our family. I am amazed at how little the home was decorated. My dad was a maniac when it came to decorations. You could barely see out of the picture window in the background as it was…
Holiday Rush
Well, I am in that last minute Christmas rush. I have had no time to blog. Here’s my quick update of joys and happening over the past few days. We had our Christmas dinner and gift exchange with our friends Vic and Jamie last night at Outback. We treasure them so as friends. I received good news this a.m. that Columbus was selected as a…
Snow Villages under the tree and on the mantle
On the night of October 31, 1990 Brett and I began our first holiday tradition as a couple. Brett had finally found a job in NE Ohio and was driving up from Cincinnati to begin our life together. I wanted to commemorate the event with something special. I purchased a Department 56 Snow Village house, wrote “Brett, Welcome home! Love, Tom” underneath and made it…
