We’ve had a stressful two weeks. Abby, our dachshund, was diagnosed with a cancerous mass cell tumor on her rear leg. We’ve had her to an oncologist and the tests came back worse than we hoped. It hasn’t spread from her leg but is fatal if not treated. The options are expensive and pretty scary. It looks like she’ll be going through some chemo and radiation. It will be hard with the only treatment center is in Columbus. It will involve 3 weeks of treatment down there. The good news is that Brett’s family will take her for us. We hate to be away from her. I am sure we’ll be travelling to visit his family during the treatments.
