Tonight Brett and I went to the Akron Main Library to see Amy Sedaris. If you don’t recognize her name, she was the star of the Comedy Central’s Strangers with Candy series and movie. She had a huge turnout to see here. They filled the auditorium and even had people on stage. We sat in the front row! She was a good speaker and was very entertaining.

She was doing a promo on her new entertaining book, I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence. It’s a NY Times best seller. It’s a mix of recipes, entertaining tips and humor with some hilarious photos. I especially like the section on entertaining for the elderly. It was printed in a font 10X the size of the rest of the book. Add to this the fact that she is of Greek descent and had many Greek recipes in the book. I love cooking Greek!
