Saturday night our friends Tom and Tom hosted a game night. We went with our friends Dave, Mark and Phil. It turned out to be a fun night. One of the card games we played was Spoons. I have never heard of it before. Anyway, it gets quite competitive. Every round ends with all the players trying to get a spoon off of the table. Since there is one less than the number of players, one person takes a loss. Well, the group took this quite seriously. In the final (not meant to be the final) round, Tom and Mike dove across the table for a spoon only to have it fall to pieces on the floor. As bad as it was, we laughed our buts off.

Wow, when I followed your link to see who you were and read that you played SPOONS the other night, I started laughing. My 4 sisters and I used to play Spoons when we were growing up! You are right it is a raucus game, but so much fun. I hadn’t thought of those fun times in years. Thanks for jogging my memory.
