I spent Friday night and most of Saturday at a leadership retreat at Salt Fork Lodge. I am often leery of these events since the success is highly dependent on the organizers and the participants. Often, one or the other is off and the result is less than rewarding. This weekend was a success. It was a valuable time for me.
As a president of a local Lutheran non-profit fraternal organization, I was looking for networking opportunities and lessons learned frofellow officers. They were there and had a good bit of insight. Now I have to apply it to the job at hand.
