We were up today at 5:00 a.m. to head to the Hartford Fair. Brett’s family spent the day competing at the draft horse and pony show at their county fair.

It was a beautiful day and the temperature was not too hot. Brett actually competed in many of the classes and helped his family getting the horses hitched and ready.

I even tried to braid the horses forelocks without much success. We had a great time.
