On Thursday Brett and I took a vacation day and headed to Cedar Point with our friends Vic and Jamie. I can’t remember the last time I was at the amusement park. Jamie and Brett wanted a day of coasters. I have had an aversion to roller coasters for years. I also haven’t went on many lately because I could not fit into the new engineered ride seats. I figured it would be a day of relaxation for me while they rode the rides.

It turned out to be completely different from what I had planned. Once I got there I started riding the coasters. The more I rode; the more I wanted to ride. I hit all the coasters with the group with the exception of the Top Thrill Dragster. I could not bring myself to be catapulted at 120 MPH across a track and up a 400 foot 90 degree tower and down. It was an amazing day. I would have never did this pre-surgery. My confidence level is so changed. I can’t believe we went strong until well after the official closing hours.
