We arrived in LA around 7:00 p.m. It’s cool but pleasant. I took the pic while waiting on the rental car shuttle. The traffic was hectic but moved. We arrived at our hotel in Long Beach around 8:15. We are on the edge of downtown in a beautiful hotel. You can see the view of the harbor we have from the room.

Last night we had dinner in an area called The Pike. It’s a large entertainment area on the harbor reminiscent of Legacy Village with a California twist, many more restaurants. We ate at CPK (California Pizza Kitchen), one of our favorites. There are a lot of people in town for a grand prix race. Traffic is detoured everywhere for the race track around the harbor and downtown.

We are off to Hollywood and West Hollywood this a.m. If we have time, we’re also taking in Rodeo Drive.
