Summer definitely meant fun times at our house. School was out! Our house sat on 10 acres, about 1/2 of which was wooded. We spent countless hours running wild. But then we also spent countless hours mowing about 2 acres of grass.

We always had a collie. Remember that Lassie was very popular. My father Jokie and I are pictured with our collie Laddie.
