Summer 2006 is history

Labor Day Weekend ends summer here in Ohio. As is usual, it rained and cooled down for the holiday. We had a busy weekend. Our pals, Keith and Al from Chicago, flew in for the weekend. We met them on our Hawaiian cruise. I have chatted with Keith for years. They are quite a nice couple. We had a great weekend showing them NE Ohio.

Saturday we ventured to Cleveland for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. We also visited the West Side Market and had dinner at the Great Lakes Brewing Company. Despite the on-and-off rain, we had a great time. On Sunday we had about a dozen friends over for a picnic. I think everyone had a good time. Today we spent some time at the Hartville Flea Market. I love these holiday sales. There are so many vendors and interesting things. Today, the market was full of vegetables at great prices.

Al and I had an AWESOME time. Think about when you’d like to visit the Windy City. There’s so much to do here.
