What a super weekend! On Saturday we went on a mystery trip with some folks from church. Well.. not to us. I coordinate these quarterly trips. They are always enjoyable, and we get a different group each time. This trip was mostly widows. Brett and I had a ball with them.

We started at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens in University Circle. I have never been, even though I love to garden. I recommend it to anyone. The glass house and gardens were superb.

Our next stop was lunch at La Tortilla Feliz, a South American restaurant in Tremont. Brett and I had discovered it a few years back. The food is interesting and yummy, prices reasonable and the atmosphere is homey.

We finished the day at the West Side Market, our favorite destination in Cleveland. I have week’s worth of veggies and meat. I got a good deal on Roma tomatoes. I made a recipe of oven dried tomatoes with them and the fresh garlic and basil I also bought.
