First autumn adventure

I love autumn in Ohio! Today we went on our church’s mystery day trip. I’ve been coordinating the past two trips. I try to look for something unexpected but appealing to a broad audience. We ventured over to Mahoning and Columbiana counties. Or first stop was the White House Farm Market in Canfield. When I was growing up in Alliance, we stopped there frequently on our trips to Youngstown. It has really grown in size over the years. We had lunch at Das Dutch Haus in Columbiana and shopped the surrounding stores.

We finished at the Mastropietro Winery in Berlin Center. This was definitely the highlight of this trip. I highly recommend this winery. Brett and I purchased the tasting sampler with their 11 wines. We left a little tipsy with 3 bottles. I never dreamed that this type of winery would be found in Berlin Center. We are looking foreword to returning for lunch in the future. The food looked very appealing.

You were in my neighborhood. I’m just around the corner from Whitehouse fruit farm. their strawberry fields are right across the Road from me.
Did you know Tom and Tom were also there this weekend?
I’ve been wanting to try the winery. It’s maybe 10 minutes from me. Also My friend Julie, who I used to work with, lives right next to it, she drives her golf cart over thru her back yard. Glad to hear the food looked good, let me know when you go for lunch I could meet you there.
