Today was my good-bye lunch at Goodyear. This is such a nice group of co-workers. Everyone showed up for my lunch at Rocknes… all 25 of us + Brett. We have never had a group lunch where everyone attended. I did not expect any gift, but they surprised me with some very generous restaurant gift cards.
I will truly miss them. They were so supportive during my heart attack and recovery. Tomorrow afternoon will be hard to say good-bye. I will really miss them. Change is hard, but I believe this move is right for me.
