Brrrrr… It's cold outside!

This was the coldest weekend of the winter. It was a good weekend to de-clutter the home. We spent Saturday morning clearing out some closets and reorganizing. The big project was reclaiming out office closet from our 10 years of use as the Lutherans Concerned InfoX office. It’s nice to finally have our office supplies orderly on shelves and handy.

The rest of Saturday we spend with our good friends Vic and Jamie. We went to the Cleveland Home and Garden Show. It seems like the weather is always the worst when we go. It’s worth it. A breath of spring is so welcome. The gardens this year were the best we’ve seen in years. The model homes were just OK.

On interesting display was a floating 600 sq ft vacation home designed to sit in a marina in Port Clinton. It was basically an upgraded trailer on a pontoon. Well, you can have waterfront vacation cottage on Lake Erie with a dock for $109,000 and about $5,000 a year dock rental.. a buy for that area.

We finished the evening with dinner at the Roadhouse in Berea. It was lovely day as we headed home with the outside temperature at 6 degrees.
