Today is my birthday. This morning I stopped on my way to work to buy donuts for my group at work. It’s their tradition that the person having the birthday buy donuts for the group. It seems reversed from what I am used to.

I asked for advice on where to buy them in the Wadsworth area. Anne’s Pastry Shop in Downtown Wadsworth just north of the square was recommended. After today, I highly recommend Anne’s. They were delicious. The danish is so good. I am told the cherry coffee cake is to die for. It was such a quaint place. It’s not often that you see an old-fashioned bakery in today’s word of Super Wal-Marts and Giant Eagles. The displays and aroma reminded me of my youth and our visits after church to Husat’s Bakery in Alliance.
