It’s Easter Sunday! Here is a photo of my sister Cindy and I taken on Easter Sunday 1964. Don’t you just love that snazzy sport coat I am wearing? This was an annual ritual for my mother. Sometime in the weeks before Easter, my mother dragged us to downtown Alliance to buy our Easter outfits for church. I can vividly recall shopping at Roberts’ Menswear, JC Penney and Sears for clothes. On Easter morning, we posed for family photos before leaving for church. It wasn’t until after returning from church and eating Easter dinner that we could dive into the Easter baskets.
