It’s been several weeks since I posed the question on what I should do with my concrete goose. I has decided to somehow use it as a plant stand. Yesterday, as I was searching for something in our workshop, I saw a bottle of Gorilla Glue. I remembered Bill’s suggestion to try it to reattach the head. I thought what the heck.

I wire brushed the body and head and glued it. I didn’t expect it to hold. It has. It’s a miracle! The goose lives. I am going to spend some time today and tomorrow sanding it down, spackling the remains of the injury and repainting it. It will have a new life.

Bill, I never dreamed Gorilla Glue would work, but the head is on it very firmly. I am now going to have a “Name my Goose Contest”. Feel free to respond with suggestions.
